BBBC, Feb 3rd - Least favorite household chore

Laundry. I will never beat Mrs. North to a pile of dirty clothes. On the rare instance that I do laundry I will be asked: "What do you want?" or "What did you do?" Something at subconscious level prevents me from seeing dirty clothes. Also, I can not fold clothes to save my life; it's not for a lack of trying. (I have a similar problem with wrapping Christmas presents.) I have seen a fitted sheet folded but it's not within my skill set to do so.

I do however enjoy doing dishes. It's a mindless task that I seem particularly well suited for.

  1. I saw a sign last week: "Being an adult is like folding a fitted sheet. No one really knows how."

    1. I can, with some choice words, get a bank of carbs in and out from between the head and air box runners. Folding a fitted sheet, not so much. I'm still working on adulting.

  2. Nice pic. Washing dishes is definitely mindless. I find it surprising that you and others actually like that one.

    1. If I had to pick between getting a small child to take a bath and dishes I pick dishes every time. They just jump right into the suds at the very moment I'm ready for them. The water is never too cold or too hot. Although, a good shampoo Mohawk is wasted on them. I never knew how easy I had it back in the day!

  3. In my experience working on "adulting" is a never ending job. Based on what I see, you do good work!
