The fam and I took a little road trip up to Pine City, Minn. for some leaf peeping and fishing. We all needed to get out of the neighborhood for a bit of a mini-adventure and take in the forest.
As any deer hunter worth their weight in buckshot knows well, forest therapy is a real thing. The Japanese even have a name for it, Shirin-Yoku. Shirin-Yoku is the practice of taking in the forest atmosphere. It's more commonly referred to as "forest bathing," a concept I can get behind.
There's something restorative about a walk in the woods.
